Comfort Zone: Winter Layers | EDIT

Elle Sweden makes thick winter layers look oh so cozy (and far from frumpy) in this editorial entitled "Comfort Zone" (see the rest of the photos, here). The key is over-sized outerwear (a few checkered versions from Tommy Hilfiger which we saw on Alexa Chung in last week's post), so that those chunky knits, sweatshirts and flannels all have room to co-exist and keep you warm. There's nothing better than layer upon layer for warmth, snug as a bug, as they say, against the cold. Get the over-sized and boxy cowl neck sweater, seen up top, from Acne Studios at shopbop, $500. That Florida State sweatshirt is vintage, and you can browse similar styles at Beyond Retro, a UK-based site that has a wide selection of these perfectly vintage sweatshirts being sold for about $35.
